The resort of Cambrils is situated some six kilometres south of Salou, and 12 kilometres from the airport at Reus, on the Costa Dorada on the north east coast of Spain. Cambrils is still a working fishing port and parts of the town still have old buildings and narrow streets, unlike the modern tourist town of Salou. There are nearly ten kilometres of sandy beaches at Cambrils.
